A quick one about Ratracks

I expected the beaches with the horrible Costa del Anything buildings in front of them, I expected the tapas & good wine in the very loud bodegas, I expected the Japanese’s tourist group rushing through the Alcazar, buzzing behind their cameras, I expected the scent of the typical Spanish soap, when crossing people on the street. And I wasn’t deceived.

But this evening, walking up the hill back to the camping, to see the light of Ratracks on the withe slopes of the Sierra Nevada, was not at all on my list of expectations.

Not that for a swiss guy, Ratracks light on a snow slope could be something so unusual, but somewhere, spring + south of Spain didn’t add up to skiing, in my little head.

The fact that I had four layers of fabrics on my skin today, some good and new duck’s feathers included, and that it wasn’t always enough to feel absolutely comfortable, means that south is not always equal to sun and warm, at least in Europe.

Stay tuned for some new eyes opening sessions of the newborn-to-the-world-and-small-brain-guy 🤙🏻

Greetings from the Northern to the unexpectes Southern Ratracks 🙂
Geniesst es, we stay tuned!

    Herzlichst, Marianne und Zeno
